So on Friday I was feeling very dizzy all day.
On Saturday I was sick and had a fever:( I could not sleep at all the night before. It was brutal.
Last night, so i guess it was Sunday, I went over to Greg's after work and we are always so hungry after work because Greg is just Greg and I don't like the food at the cafeteria and it is hard to bring a lunch to work all the time so I got Greg's Chinese roommate to cook for us. His name is Jackie and he made the SPICIEST noodles EVER. My entire mouth and lips felt numb after. It was insaneeee.
Today was pretty good. I had a mid-shift so I started work at 10 am and it was so nice and sunny. Great weather to make magic in:) I was walking through the Sci Fi restaurant today and there was this man and his family with a VIP tour guide. Usually when there is a tour guide, it usually means someone famous is near by so I went by a couple times to check it out. ALLLLL these fathers were freaking out over him. This one man grabbed on to the famous guy's arm and was like panting "THE RIBS ARE GREAT HERE"...I don't know who he was but I am trying to find out. I even bumped into him on the way by the first time by accident so I feel pretty special that I bumped into some total stranger. haha
Around 8, Kurt and I decided we wanted to go to Ohana's for dinner. Kurt tried and tried to get reservations so then we finally decided to just go and show up. It was about an hour long wait so we went to this store and just tried on hats and played around with the stuff. It was soooo much fun! When we finally got into the restaurant, the two of us were seated at a six person table! We asked our waiter if she could possibly move us to a smaller one and she was so kind and moved us to one of the best tables in the restaurant. It was about quarter to 10 so we got an AMAZING view of the fireworks show Wishes. At Ohanas, they dim the lights and play the music in the restaurant. Both Kurt and I teared up at the end.
I cannot believe there is a month left of our program. Time has flown by sooo quickly. It really hit me yesterday when one of the older men I work from Haiti was asking me when I leave and I told him and he made it a big deal how it was so soon and he would miss me so much! I always talk to the older men in my break room on my breaks because there are so many different cultures and to hear their stories about their life is truly amazing and I hope I never forget some of the stories they have told me.
