So much for rainy season..

So I have been super busy lately...I had eight days of work in a row and pretty much my feet are still hurting from it. Then I had two days off, then two more days of work and now I am on another set of two days off.

So not last Sunday but the Sunday before, it was my friend Kurt's birthday and we went to Crystal Palace for breakfast which was AMAZING but I had the worst stomach ache at work that afternoon from eating too much. It was worth it though...the "Pooh's Puffed French Toast" tastes like heaven.

Then after work, we went to another apartment for Kurt's 80s themed birthday party which was lots of fun! A lot of people went all out on their outfits. Kurt's was amazing with the spandex! hahahaha

So then I think it was either Monday or Tuesday, Attila and I went to Magic Kingdom after work and went and saw the Spectromagic parade!:) It was sooo good, especially since at 9pm the parade was crowded and then at 11pm for the second showing, the park was like empty so we could sit basically wherever. And we also went and stopped by Jungle Cruise to see Alex and we ended up going on his boat. He is a superrrr good skipper. Definitely the best one I have had so far. Basically on that ride, the skipper takes you through a tour of different continents through the jungle of different continents and they have a 10 minute speech full of bad humour.
It always makes me laugh though. I even got a shout out at the end of the tour when Alex was naming off his "favourite plant names" hahaha. You need to see it to understand.

I had a good magical moment last week where I was talking to this little girl who was not feeling well at all and then I noticed from her pin that it was her birthday and I decided to pull out a pixie pin which is pretty much a Tinkerbell trading pin with a special message on it and I gave it to her. She was sooo happy. It was so cute. She went and ran off to her family and her mom teared up to see her daughter so happy.

My parents came to visit on Wednesday to Sunday and I got to stay at Saratoga Springs Resort which was a nice change. On Friday, they took me to a restaurant called Le Cellier in Epcot and the guy that seated us was from Milton and went to school with a bunch of people I know, including Jake! I was freaking out like "You know Jake Yeoman?!" It was crazyyyy. And Saturday morning I went to Crystal Palace again for breakfast but I was not as full this time. lol
So we went to the different parks, not Animal Kingdom though. I finally saw the fireworks show, Illuminations and it was super good! Definitely not as good as Wishes though. They also took me shopping and bought me a new ipod which I am sooo thankful for because my other one is totally broken. So I was super happy about that.

When my parents were at the Studios, Greg magical momented them with Fast Passes to Toy Story Mania (which are hard to get). I knew he was going to do that before him because he told me and all day he was like find your parents and I was like NO WAY! lol

On Sunday, before my parents left, we were walking through the Studios on Hollywood Boulevard and I was like "Oh ya, Happy Father's Day!" to my dad. I soon found out that not only was it not Father's Day, but I had missed my Dad's birthday last month...oopsiesss..I liked my parent's visiting, but i reallyyy missed Vista Way a lot. It feels like home here and not some strange place. It's going to be weird leaving here at the end knowing I won't see majority of these people again in my life.

So then I worked Sunday and Monday and today, Hilary and I did some shopping at Florida Mall which was lots of fun. The buses come every hour and a half so when we went to catch the bus back, I got on but Hilary who was right behind me, got caught off. So we called Kurt since we were going to go for Dinner with him, and asked him to get us since we were super hungry! In the mean time, Hilary and I went to the food court and just chilled. FYI there are like 5 chinese food places in the food court and everyone one had people standing out in front handing out free samples on chicken...Let's just say, Hilary and I were not hungry by the time Kurt came to get us.
So then we went to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner and had a super annoying waiter. You could hear his super loud voice from all over the restaurant. When we left, it was POURING out. It has been sunny for about a week straight so I knew the rain was bound to come down at some point.

We were going to go to Alehouse tonight because it is Tuesday but we were all too tired! My alarm went off at 4:30 am this morning because it was still set from the day before and Hilary was laughing at me and i went to turn it off and I hit it and it fell behind the table. There is a light on it that turned on and in the middle of trying to turn it off, I fell asleep. No joke, cuz in the morning, I woke up and the light on it was still on. That pretty much explains how tired I am.

And that pretty much sums up my week.
