Day 3

So yesterday was Day 3 of being here, also known as find out where I`m working day!:)
So in the morning, there was a very long presentation and lots of paper work to fill out. The man presenting I must say was very entertaining. He must must have said WOOHOOO a good 30 times within the two hours we were there. There was also a banking presentation where we were told all about the debit cards we were given.

We then had a two hour break back at our apartment and it was probably the longest two hours of my life because we all knew that in the afternoon we would find out where we were working. So we got to the pavilion ten minutes early so we would be ahead of the line and I had a little panic attack because I couldn`t find one of my very important forms. So after going back to the apartment and rummaging through all of my belongings, i finally found it in my purpose, folded up in my passport where it was put so i would not lose it. lol

So of course I was at the end of the line, but after lots of waiting, I got my bank card and found out I am working at HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS. I was sooooo happy, as that was where I had told Roger (the recruiter) that was my favourite park. So I am guessing he requested to put me there which was very nice of him!

So after this, we went back to the pool, but i only stayed for an hour because I went over to Walmart to buy an American cell phone. I got one for twenty dollars and its not the nicest phone in the world but it will make do. All I really care about is whether I can send messages to the US and Canada for free, which I can. It took me hours to figure out how to get it set up. I was planning on going to Downtown Disney or the Polynesian to watch the fireworks by myself, seeing as the rest of my apartment had to get up for Traditions today at 5:45am. Fun times for them. Luckily, my Traditions is at 1:30pm, but it also means I get my park pass later then them:( But anyways, I didn`t end up going anywhere so I called home instead.

Also, I met a lot of international people yesterday that weren`t from Canada. It was so interesting to hear where in the world they have lived and where they have travelled seeing as all my roommates are Canadian. We seem to be the only apartment with all Canadians in it. I know the floor above us has people from France, Vietnam, Africa, etc. It`s pretty interesting.

So in about half an hour, I have to catch the bus to Disney University so I figure I better get ready. But right after, I am coming right back here to change and me and one of my friends are heading over to Magic Kingdom!:)
