Day 4
Okay so yesterday was Traditions, aka a full fun 5 hours of my life...
So I was in the second group, the first group had to catch the bus at 6:45 while I slept in (hahaha) though they did get their park passes before I did.
So at 12:15 we caught the bus and when we got there, they checked to make sure we were worthy of being in the Disney Look Book, which I was and then i got my id and Jacqueline -Acton, Ontario- pin. That was prob the most exciting part...I won a little Disney figurine along with three other people in my group cuz we named off the most Disney characters and then there was a lot of videos and presentations.
So finally we were done at like 5:30pm and were free to go for the rest of the day, so we got on the bus and we saw a LIVE ALLIGATOR behind magic kingdom. It was wicked. Highlight of my day right there lol.
So we came back, got changed and then me and my friend Kurt and a few people went on over to Magic Kingdom. All the resort buses and monerails are now decorated with mickey ear balloons which i noticed for this years theme of "What will you celebrate" so i thought it was a nice touch. Seeing the castle for the first time after traditions was absolutely amazing. I couldnt believe I was there when we were all walking down mainstreet. So we decided to grab some ice cream to reward ourselves for living through the day...mine was Sugar Free Pecan. It was delicious...best ice cream of my life.
After this me and Kurt met up with Alex from France and then went over to Cosmic Rays where we met up with Attila from Vancouver, another guy who i cant remember his name but was friends with my neighbour from residence at Guelph, and another girl. While Attila and the girl finished eating, me Alex and Kurt went over to Philharmagic, which was a good first show. Def put us in the Disney spirit. We then did Haunted Mansion and then Big Thundermountain. Walk ons for all three. Then Attila insisted we RUN to wishes which was about to start. We got AMAZING seats, yes seats, infront of the castle. It was perfect...we then took the bus back to the TTC and took the lovely bus back home..well home as in 3305 vista way.
Oh and i forgot to mention, you can see Bay Lake Towers very nicely from the castle, so im sure its a fantastic few from there.
Day 5
So today like everyone except me and Valerie, who lives in my apartment and is from Quebec, had training at some point so i decided to wander on over to Downtown Disney and get myself a lanyard for my id's. I could see Saratoga Springs from Pleasure Island. So I got my lanyard and decided to go on over to the Polynesian, have lunch since i hadnt eaten yet except for a grapefruit and sit on the beach...took a while, since I forgot we had to stop at Typhoon Lagoon, which i get into for free along with Blizzard Beach for the rest of the month. yayyy:)
Finally made it and after eating lunch at Captain Cook's, I realized I was not wearing sun screen so i went back to Vista Way..then i hung out with a few people who were back from training and figured out my schedule for next week (OHHH BOY!) and am prob going to bed soon even though its 9:15 cuz I have to be on the bus at 6:45 tomorrow.
I know there is a day next week I have to be on the bus at 5:15...luckily the Hollywood Studios hours are not TOO bad.
